
Alison Milbank
Alison Milbank is Professor of Theology and Literature at the University of Nottingham and Canon Theologian and Priest Vicar at Southwell Minster. She teaches and writes on many aspects of religion and culture from Dante to Tolkien and her most recent book is God and the Gothic, published by Oxford University Press in 2018. She has long had an interest in Anglican ecclesiology, and co-wrote For the Parish: A Critique of Fresh Expressions with Andrew Davison (SCM, 2010), which contains a strong defence of the theology and missional potential of the parish.
