Angela Tilby

Writer, broadcaster and theological educator. After a career as a programme maker at the BBC she was ordained in 1998 and became Tutor and Vice-Principal of Westcott House in Cambridge. She was then vicar of St Bene’t’s Church in Cambridge before becoming a Residentiary Canon at Christ Church Cathedral, Oxford. She is Canon Emeritus of Christ Church and is now, in retirement, a Canon of Honour at Portsmouth Cathedral. Her academic interest is in the history and spirituality of the Early Church. She has written books on the Creed, on Science and Spirituality and on early Christian asceticism. She is a visiting lecturer at Sarum College, Salisbury.
